Websites, T'Internet, Web Browsers, anything Online really. On your computer, tablet or phone.
I am going to make everything as easy for you to follow as I can, not because you are old but because I love teaching and I am as old as you.
There will be lots of information with pictures made by me with the help of AI just to help you.
All the words are from the AI brain of Catherine Casey.
OK so there won't be everything that you would find in a 'Dummies' book, but then, you are not dummies.
You are just a bit older, and have never had the inclination to get into this Technology lark, or your job just has not taken you there. But you too can be almost as smart as your grandchildren!
There are no long, complicated articles, no repeating myself so often that you want to go to sleep just after you get out of bed.
I have the knowledge, you have the capacity to learn, whatever your age. I just want to share that knowledge with you. In whatever order my Brain wants to take you.
There will also be snippets of useless information dotted about that could make you smile, or make you cringe in the same breath.
Originally the heading description above had 'Computing Problems' but that felt wrong to me, so why did I change the word Problems to the word Mysteries?

Just a reminder that you are never to old to learn, I am 73 in 2024, I am learning how to prompt with AI (Artificial Intelligence) and I am thoroughly enjoying this new experience.

I was nearly scammed and I know a lot about it and how to avoid it.
Approximately 5.4 MILLION Google searches occur every minute worldwide.
And that is just Google, there are 500 Search Engines on the Web.
While I don’t have real-time data on the exact number of people using steam trains every minute, the numbers do not match digital search engine usage, but the charm of steam trains endures.
Hopefully, you might stay to the end, or keep coming back for new tips and tricks.

Where do I start, there isn't a beginning, middle or an end to technology or computing.
It is just one massive mess of cables/leads, some of them are visible but most of them are invisible.
Just so that you understand me a little better, I need to tell you that I have a giant suitcase of Computer Cables/leads, I cannot throw away a Cable, it does not matter how old it is I cannot get rid of it.
One day, someone might need that Cable for a machine that they have, and I will have that Cable in my suitcase.
